Dream Valley Festival

With the 2016 Olympic Games coming to Rio de Janeiro, as well as the 2014 World Cup, Brazil is quickly emerging as one of the world’s premiere entertainment destinations.

The Dream Valley Festival in Beto Carrero hosts one of the world’s most start studded lineups of electronic musical artists, including the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, David Guetta, and Hardwell. For such a high profile event, lasers were a “must have” and Vinicius Wenzel of LASER 3D SHOW was contracted to perform the lasers at the event. Vinicius is one of Brazil’s most experienced laser show operators, and has received in depth training on both laser safety and operation.

Vinicius and his team at LASER 3D SHOW used a combination of two 30 watt RGB projectors and two 20 watt RGB projectors to project various beam effects for those in attendance. Control was done using Pangolin’s new BEYOND laser control software, in conjunction with the APC40 MIDI console for easy “live” laser control.

Show Tech:
Two 20 watt laser projectors in combination with two 30 watt laser projectors were used for this event. Show control was done in the front of house, using Pangolin’s BEYOND laser control software with the QM2000.NET hardware, and the APC40 MIDI console.
