Metallica “Blackened” au Yankee Stadium

ER Productions was tasked with providing lasers for Metallica, at the biggest heavy metal concert the east coast of America has ever seen… The Big Four (Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeath & Slayer) hit the east coast in style and blew the roof off the New York Yankee Stadium. ER Productions was proud to part of this historic occasion and provide the lasers for the event!

ER productions brought over 150 watts of laser power with them to the event, including 3 x 21 watt while lights, and 2 x 17 watt white lights positioned to create a pyramid. Then, they added two stunning 24 watt tandem green lasers out on the wings of the show floor, and were able to fill the entire Yankee stadium in beautiful laser light.

Using Pangolin Lasershow Designer and Showtime each laser had its own Pangolin Intro Systems, controlled via ethernet to ER’s stage rack with a Pangolin LD2000 Pro System installed FOH. This unique setup gave ER full programming capability. Also used was ER’s custom built Estop System which enabled them to set a 30 second delay on starting the system, a feature required in the US.
